It it just me...or do most artists not like their own work.
I find that almost everything i do i'm not pleased with...there are some things that i'm happy with...
It drives me crazy!
I guess most of us are like this..its in our blood to be super critical, because that is what making art is all about. If i didn't critisize myself, i'd think i was awesome and amazing, and i would be really wrong. I'd keep going the way i was going, and i'd never get any better.
Maybe this stage of learning is a weird stage...its like i do some things right...then i do things wrong, all in one painting...and then i just can't stand it because i can see all the wrongs, and it makes it look horrible to me. Hmmm...
who else hates their work?
its like it drives me nuts but i wouldn't ever give it up...like a wife or something haha
