It it just me...or do most artists not like their own work. I find that almost everything i do i'm not pleased with...there are some things that i'm happy with... It drives me crazy! I guess most of us are like this..its in our blood to be super critical, because that is what making art is all about. If i didn't critisize myself, i'd think i was awesome and amazing, and i would be really wrong. I'd keep going the way i was going, and i'd never get any better. Maybe this stage of learning is a weird stage...its like i do some things right...then i do things wrong, all in one painting...and then i just can't stand it because i can see all t

yep:| i mean holy shit its october already. i almost made the title "ok so its september" but i didn't.....because then it hit me. Everything is going just fine..i'm back in school, painting is taking up most of my time and i don't mind it at all. This is the first actual painting class i've taken, although i've been painting since i was a kid (who hasn't?!) and it was always one of my favourite things to do. This class is a little challenging for me, but thats a GOOD thing! I used to think that if something was a challenge, then it just meant you weren't good at whatever it is that is challenging. I'm happy that i'm not getting things righ
